With help from friends and family we did a little cleaning, painting and rearranging and have the shop back open for business. I have some big shoes to fill and want to thank Bruce for his trust and confidence in handing the store over to me after running things for over two decades. Bruce and I started talking about this back in February and slowly figured out how to make it work, making the transition feel very “organic” for me. I have known Bruce for over ten years as a customer and now I’m proud to call him a friend. I also want to thank the Vino “family” for welcoming me as the new shop owner!
Many of you expressed a desire to bring the Friday Flights back for every Friday and I listened. This Friday the 13th (yikes) will be the first of many Friday tastings. I hope you can join to taste some wines from Sicily, kicking off an island-wine series I’ve been working on. I’ll send out the details early this week.
